Abstract

Identity politics is a dynamic in democracy because political aspirations are institutionalized into groups, both political parties and non-governmental organizations affiliated with certain identities. However, the identity that is brought into politics should be played out in an ethical and moral manner and should not go beyond the limits that can undermine the unity and integrity of the nation.
