Abstract

The economic growth that has taken place some time ago and is still ongoing, has also contributed a lot in creating economic miracles. The power of economic growth to transform society from poverty to prosperity cannot be denied. Between 1970 and 1980, the standard of living for hundreds of millions of people has increased. The level of public education is higher. Mortality rates for children and mothers in childbirth have decreased rapidly. The gap in gender differences in basic human abilities is narrowing.
