LOCAL GOVERNMENT STRATEGIES IN FACING THE IMPACT OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC ON MICRO ENTERPRISES AT THE COOPERATIVES, MICRO ENTERPRISES, TRADE AND INDUSTRY OFFICE OF TANAH BUMBU REGENCY

This study aims to explain the strategy of the Cooperatives, Micro Enterprises, Trade and Industry Office of Tanah Bumbu Regency in dealing with the impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Micro Enterprises. This study uses a descriptive research method using a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out using literature, observation, interviews, and available documentation related to this research. Data analysis was carried out using several main steps, namely reducing data and presenting reduced data processing process data in the form of brief descriptions that describe the results of research findings. This research found the following results: a) Facilitation program for production process problems through packaging training and sasirangan training. This activity is to help with problems in the production process of microbusinesses that are really needed and in accordance with the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic, improvement of packaging and product quality, and product innovation are urgently needed so that micro-business actors in Tanah Bumbu Regency can always keep abreast of developments in product competition on the market. Also, the availability of tools that suit the needs of micro-entrepreneurswill be very helpful in achieving increased production targets. b) Diversification training for micro business products through Tanah Bumbu weavingdiversification training. Organizing this training so that it can help micro entrepreneurs to be enthusiastic about developing their business because they have received new insights both theoretically and practically to develop innovations in the field of weaving available in Tanah Bumbu Regency which can become the hallmark of Tanah Bumbu souvenirs. c) Development of promotion of micro business products through training activitiesmarketing online. Marketing training activities will be more effective to save on promotional expenses outside the region as well as to be time efficient in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. d) Increasing the network between institutions through collaboration with Modern Shops in Tanah Bumbu Regency. Efforts to increase collaboration by the Office of Cooperatives, Micro Enterprises, Trade and Industry of Tanah Bumbu Regency, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic so that it motivates ME players to keep getting up and take advantage of the collaboration that has been attempted to keep it going so that they can help these micro business actors so they can continue to sell their products in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. e) Facilitate the standardization of micro business products through outreach activities and assistance with the registration of Brand Rights and Halal. Helping with the registration of brand rights and halal for micro business products assisted by the Cooperative Service so that they have product legality that can guarantee product quality and attract consumer interest because in the conditions of the Covid-19 pandemic, consumers will be more selective in choosing products with guaranteed quality and clear brands. So that micro business products are able to compete with other products in national and international markets.
